All of our products are handmade in small batches with clean simple ingredients. Each bar lasts up to 30 washes when let fully dry

How we started...
Light as a Feather Soaps began as a personal journey into a chemical free and sustainable lifestyle with a focus on plastic waste reduction. After noticing all the wasted body wash bottles and the long list of ingredients contained in them, I began searching for a better alternative. During this journey I was gifted a book on cold process soap making and dove right in. Starting with just a few basic recipes I fell in love with the endless combinations of scents, colorants, oils, and creativity that comes with soap making. Not to mention, my skin felt nourished and clean without the dryness commercial soap bars left. I went overboard making soap and giving it to friends and family at every chance I got. Soon these friends and family members were offering to buy bars because they loved them too! So began a small website that has now flourished into a new passion of mine.
